A Dream

I had a beautiful dream

There was a sun, there was a gleam

But I woke up and it was gone...

I had a dreadful nightmare

I couldn´t breathe, there wasn´t air

When I woke up, it wasn't gone...

Where is the Good that I seek?

Where is the Love that I need?

Come to me and stay the night

I promise that I won´t fight...

-

And one day when you´ll want to leave

I'll be the one who won't believe

That it was just a simple dream

In life, no one is as they seem.

-

But for now I have a plea

A request, and nothing more

'Please, just stay the night with me'

Is all I will ask you for.
