“Why on earth have you read them that old silly fairy tale? They will suppose everything in it is true...!”

“You think it´s silly? It´s my favourite story...” Harry said in reply, looking hurt.

“Harry, I didn´t mean to...” Severus sighed under his husband´s gaze. “Look at us. You have my heart and my soul...”

Harry smiled softly. “And you have mine...”

Yes, some fairy tales might be real...

Oh... I like how fast Severus reacted to the hurt that his casual comment about the fairy tale caused Harry. His willingness to explain himself further and actually go as far as to make such a mushy love declaration openly is a clear sigh of how much he loves his husband. Gorgeously romantic, pat. I loved it. :)
